I was sleeping really soundly this morning (for a change) when all of a sudden my alarm clock gave a loud BEEP! The alarm hadn't been set, but it went off anyway (just the one time) and scared me half to death! This is not the first time it has done this and I guess I'll have to get rid of it, because I think it hates me. And I'm beginning to return that feeling.

I don't know what kind of an alarm clock you have, but mine is plugged into the outlet as well as a battery backup in case the power goes out.
When the battery gets old/low, it beeps at me, letting me know that the battery needs replacing.
It's also possible that your date/time settings need to be updated.

Why does the autocorrect keep turning "its" into "it's"? The former is correct when it's possessive.

I'm trying to arrange several things for my income and work, in total I had 5 things of my list to do, I've crossed the second thing of that list today. One thing will be for next year, I just hope everything will work out and none of it backfires

There are a lot of podcasts these days where celebrities are interviewing other celebrities, and so many of them are so unprepared. It's your podcast. You're the host. How do you not know anything about the person you're interviewing?

For the same reason they mix up basic homophones like to and too or there, their and they're. They're semi-illiterate.

It does have a battery backup, but when the battery gets low, it gives off beeps at timed intervals, not one loud beep at the exact time (8am) that I last set the alarm. It has done this several months ago, too. Just to be sure, I will change the battery again. Thanks for the suggestion.

I don't know how or why this came to mind, but I came up with a way to explain my brother. Let's say he never locks the front door and you keep telling him to lock it before a robber steals everything, but he continues to keep the door unlocked. When a robber does steal everything, my brother will get mad at you, not the robber.

Is there a word for that sort of behavior or personality or whatever?
