Sedona believes in lots of things, but not those.Sedona is pretty nice, but I couldn't stand the traffic or the roundabouts. I guess they don't believe in U-Turns there.
Are you thinking about its use in "Lower Decks" or in general? Is the name "Gabers" derived from "capers"?
No. Don't do it .That would basically be fraud.OK moral quandary time:
I have a parcel I have received from Amazon, it arrived a good 2 1/2 weeks before the estimated date. On the website now it still shows as being in transit, and that if not here by the 28th I can ask for a refund. I am debating doing the naughty thing but I really shouldn't should I?

That they do.those kind of things always catch up with you.
Or dog owners to their dogs, like can you not?
I TOTALLY baby-talk to my cat, but it's in the privacy of my own home.
The Post Office had no stamps.
I'd be lost for words if I wasn't typing.

I absolutely cannot stand it when adults use "baby talk ." If you are more than 4 years old , you should NOT use baby talk. It's annoying and really creepy.
(Mini-derail-ish)I went to the Post Office to buy stamps. They didn't have any.

I was just watching "Failure to Launch", and it didn't occur to me for a long time just how truly despicable Sarah Jessica Parker's character was.
I mean, she goes around, pretends to be interested in people until they've moved out of their parent's house, then presumably dumps them. Ending what may be the only romantic relationship they will have.
And the only shred of ethics she has is that she doesn’t REALLY mess them up emotionally by sleeping with them. Of course, she immediately violates this rule and it isn't even a big deal for her.
I guess it's easy enough to be ethical when you're dealing with an overweight lisping ASD fandom geek who only has a job because he can do thankless work no one else wants, and will bore you to tears with his 300 reasons why Harry Kim on Voyager should have been promoted*... but when you've got a hunky and personable subject, do what you want and never mind the harm done!
I have to say, when you have a Terry Badshaw butt-shot that's several minutes long and that's NOT the cringiest thing in your movie... well, you've accomplished something.
I will say, though, I got a good laugh from Matthew Mc-however you spell it bring assaulted by a dolphin. And the scene with the myna bird.
*Not a disparaging remark, that's a self description. Aside from the fact that I only have 30 or 40 reasons why Harry should have been promoted.
I was thinking of LDS. Sir Legnog's name is obviously derived from "eggnog", and the Klowahkans are of course a culture of foodies. Are you thinking about its use in "Lower Decks" or in general?
In general, "Gaber(s) is either a toponym derived from a word for "hornbeam" (most common derivation in Germanic languages including English) OR comes from a root word with meanings of "mock" or "joke" that percolated into both Europe and Asia so similar names turn up in many languages all from the same root.
If it's LDS, then I have no idea!
