Random Thoughts...or...What's on Your Mind?

I prefer my brother with no hair. I've never done it full myself but I've done zeroes or when I had a mohawk I shaved down to skin.

A lot of it is personal aesthetics. I bitterly resent my own expanding bald spot, so I'm not going to like the cleanhead look on others. Unless it's Avery frickin' Brooks, because reasons.

Subject change (I love this topic). Robin in Batman had the ultimate impractical costume, especially since he regularly fights bad guys up close... all an opponent has to do is grab his arm and throw him to the asphalt, and his bare legs are going to look like shredded meat.

I get a lot of suggested and sponsored posts on Facebook that are sports related. Is it because a lot of people I follow post about sports? The annoying part is the number of fake sports ads which appear that are obvious scammers or overseas knockoffs. They're beyond obvious but many people will fall for it. And they're sponsored ads too.

Yes... The answer to both is yes, if you follow sports people or sporty things you'll see a lot of that kind of stuff in your feed, same for advertising.

There was a customer at my store today who was wearing a Notre Dame hat. It reminded me:

How, after all these years, do they continue to get away with calling themselves the "Fighting Irish"? You'd think that'd be the first thing on the woke chopping block.

I got banned from Steam forums till April 14 for a controversial thread topic that was to quote the moderators "likely to be inflammatory and divisive" bah humbug

Well seems snake oil is everywhere, even ddr4 power filters that go in ram slots, that's right they plug into empty ram slots. Video was amusing to say the least.

This probably fits in here but I was just musing about TV growing up in the mid 70s to 80s, early 90s and how it really did change a lot. I don't know if it was the same for most of you but I remember vividly the mid to late 70s TV was full of interesting stuff and we had documentaries on during the week in prime time and I used to watch them, nearly all of them and just eat that up like a sponge, then during the 80s and 90s it changed from being clever informative TV to things that were more dumbed down.

Maybe looking at this through rose tinted glasses but that's how I feel / felt thinking about this earlier today, and in a way I feel kind of sad for it.

There are still a lot of interesting documentaries on TV, most of that kind of stuff has just moved over to the cable channels like Discovery, History Channel, and Nat Geo.
