Random Thoughts...or...What's on Your Mind?

Speaking of JFK....

Andrew Robinson. Is that awesome, or what?

Scott Adams may be a racist asshole but I still think Dilbert is funny and will continue to read it (assuming my local paper isn't one of the ones that dropped it).

I mentioned the over in the What Song Are You ListeningTo thread that I've been listening to music from different countries lately, and it made me think of a movie I watched a while back, and I cannot remember the name it. It was a drama that followed a group of friends in one of the really strict Middle Eastern countries, I think maybe Iran, who started a rock band, but they by doing doing it they were breaking the law. I can't remember if rock music in general was illegal, or if it was because there were girls in the band.

There used to be a pitcher for the Red Sox named Steven Wright...poor guy probably gets bothered every day by people asking him to tell jokes.

"I bought a new camera. It's very advanced. You don't even need it."

"Whenever I see a Dalmatian I say 'What number are you?'"

"I'm living on a one-way dead-end street. I don't know how I ever got there."

I here am new.

I think I'm gonna steer clear of the Mandalorian thread since I didn't realize the unwritten rule was you had to grade every episode 10 out of 10.

Are popular websites taking such a hit that they'll do anything for clicks? Seems like half the postings on the Gizmodo sites these days are slideshows, because 25 clicks on 25 pages is more than 1 click on 1 page. And IGN has been posting these absurd "How to watch Fast and Furious/Harry Potter/Indiana Jones/X-Men/Spider-Man in order" lists.

Yeah, I like IGN, but I don't get the whole point of doing "how to watch X in order" articles, when the damn things are already numbered. It's pretty easy to figure out how to watch them in order, when the damn things tell you their order right in the titles.

Well the MCU movies are sold in filming order but you have to reshuffle them to get chronological order

My mom and I have both been watching Gilligan's Island a lot lately, and we both agreed that the amount of crap that everyone brought on a three tour is insane. Most of them seem to have brough their entire wardrobes, and then almost every episode we see them with random crap, that doesn't really seem like the kind of stuff you'd need to bring with you on a quick 3 hour tour.

Not to mention the sheer amount of visitors that they had on that island. Yet no one ever saved them till that movie and then they ended the movie with them getting stranded again on the same island.

And why the hell couldn’t they FIX THE DAMN BOAT ALREADY :scream:

Especially the Professor. He was always building things pretty much out of thin air, and he can't help fix a hole in a boat? Or, failing that, just build a fucking RAFT or CANOE or something? What's up with that?

I'm actually liking the theory that the whole thing was planned out in advance by the Professor, and he intentionally allowed the Minnow to crash, as some sort of sociological experiment...

Ahaha I like that, where did you get that from?

Don't know about you or others but, I'm "goin" w/ Mary Ann :adore: over Ginger, and I think the Prof was ahh..."experimenting" on both of 'em.

And btfw, what the Hell can you expect from a show that was "Based on a True story" anyways? :D
