Random Thoughts...or...What's on Your Mind?

Was out driving a moment ago. Watched two vehicles both leaving a store parking lot and the second car suddenly guns it to whip ahead of the first car. They were only like 15 feet away from reaching the street when this happened. That car doesn't even come to a full stop at the street, instead flooring it to turn onto the street right as oncoming traffic reaches that area.

Apparently the guy that you encountered had more horsepower vs brains. I've seen such myself, fuck-wad punks are gonna' punk.

My hubby rolled his ankle yesterday. He thought it was broken but xrays showed it wasn't. He's now wearing the ankle brace he got from the last time he did this a few months ago. :angryrazz:

I hope it heals quickly and stops being painful.
My hubs used to do that kind of thing often, but mostly at the most inopportune times. He popped a ligament in his lower leg on Christmas eve one year and then another time so that I had to miss a nephew's wedding. We had a closet full of ace bandages and crutches for Mr. Klutzy.

When I was a teenager I was constantly twisting and spraining things, so I spent half of those year with something wrapped or in a brace.
It really amazes me how much they can make some of the vegan meats, cheeses, ect., taste like the other kind. There are a lot of these that I can almost guarantee you could feed to a non-vegan, I they wouldn't realize what they just ate.

I was playing softball once and I swung, missed the ball...and hit myself on the back of the head.

Haven't played it since!

Were you wearing a helmet... using a wood or aluminum bat? Did you hear a crack off the bat or a "kling/ring" on your head? ;)

The details here could explain many things :).

Just kidding, I played hardball and...softball too and have turned my ankles many a time. :brickwall:

I'm starting to get a little concerned about one of the people I follow on IG. She's a horseback rider in New Zealand and her and a friend are on a horseback riding trip through the south part of the country, and she said she was going to be posting all about on new page for the trip on IG and other social media pages. She did post a punch of stuff on the first, and the last thing was them walking the horses along a busy highway in the pitch black, heading to the home of a woman who they just spoke to earlier that day who agreed to let them keep the horses in her paddock, and to let them sleep on her property in their tents. That was several days ago, and she hasn't posted anything else on her regular IG, and she doesn't appear to have set up a separate page for the trip. I did find a page for the trip on Facebook, but the last activity on there was she uploaded a profile picture on the 9th. When she announced the trip, she made it sound like she was going to be posting tons of stuff all day every day, and she did that first day, and then after that night she just stopped.

More than likely either poor/no cell service or the phone/charger broke (or no place to plug-in).

Hopefully.
She's started posting again yesterday, and has posted a couple days worth of videos now.
I've actually commented back and forth with her a few times and I kind of feel like I know her a little bit, so I guess that was part of why I got so concerned.

@Commander Troi that anke sounds terrible.
I did that too but was unlucky and tore the tendon so it swelled up quite a bit and now to this day that ankle is noticeably darker complexion to it than the left ankle which is due to the injury, at least that's what my doctor has told me. They can't explain the darker patch as there is no pain, no loss of movement since and no circulation issues.

Maybe everyone's languages is understood in the afterlfie
