Does anyone use and understand USPS informed delivery? It was telling me a package was in transit to the next destination and then nothing after that, and there was also no shipment origin and the tracking number was two numbers short. No one ordered anything or was expecting anything. Then a second one of these appeared with all the same features. The first one has since disappeared. Any idea what's going on here?

I've seen cases where notification was sent prior to the package being accepted by USPS.

Anybody on here watch Let's Make Deal, either the original with Monty Hall or the new one with Wayne Brady? When the person gets ZONK they don't actually take it home do they? At least I'm assuming they aren't going to force people to take the animal ZONKS like the donkeys. Equines are expensive, and I can't imagine they'd force a person who lives in a studio apartment and can barely afford their rent to suddenly take care of an animal they never actually wanted.

I can't remember if I first mentioned here or in the things that frustrate us all thread, but back on Veteran's Day I ran into a horseback rider who seemed really familiar, but I couldn't figure out why and it was really bugging me. I finally ran into her again today, riding her horse with some other girls, and I asked and she said I didn't seem familiar to her, so apparently it's just me. She does look a little like someone else I know, so that might be all it is.

So I just watched The Thirteenth Floor, which for anybody who's never seen it, deals with people putting their consciousnesses into their own doppelgangers in a simulated world. One thing that comes up a few times is that when the people in the simulation run into people who their users interacted with they seem familiar, like they met them before, but can't figure out where. If you saw my posted I quoted above, you can probably understand why that kinda freaked me out a tiny bit.

Just found out/heard that a good online friend on one of the other boards I post a fair bit on is in ICU and probably won’t survive much longer.

F**king cancer…

His nickname is ‘The Ambassador’ as he always greeted each newbie/poster on the board personally with a ‘Welcome to the Nuthouse’ message, etc. Just a Certifiable Good Egg / Person all around.
