The Duolingo app spies on people too... my friend and I were discussing the possibility of moving to Italy the other day and later that night she got a prompt from the app to start learning Italian...The A/C unit in my hotel room actually knows when I’m in the room. And it’s kinda freaking me out.

it's crazy but i have never seen one single episode of any dr.who.
i have no idea where to begin, so many doctors, so many series....
i might as well start with that one... with the EmojiBots i guess.
It's like the Daleks took over the Toy factory.
If you have never seen ANY Doctor Who, start with 9, Eccleston. He did one season--13 episodes--and then it goes to Tennant.

I didn’t use an app, I’ve just never before stayed in a hotel where the room A/C worked like this. Before I figured it out, I thought it was broken.
If it was motion sensors it'd go off when you were asleep. I can imagine something tracking entries and exits.
Yep if you are doing modern Dr Who start with the 9th Doctor and Rose, it does get much better from there but the 9th Doctor was one of my favourites.
i fought my way through all the old ones i could lay my hands on - that was hard at times
