Well it's nice to know after a 7 month delay NASA has managed to make contact with Voyager 2 again
I wonder what was going on in those seven months…chilling
In fact pigs sweat very little, if at all. The expression "sweating like a pig" actually comes from iron smelting. Molten iron is poured into a sand mold and solidifies with the pieces resembling a sow and her piglets, hence "pig iron."That reminds me of something I was wondering about the other day. Do pigs really sweat that much?
I learned something today! As the iron cools, the surrounding air reaches its dew point, and beads of moisture form on the surface of the "pigs". "Sweating like a pig" indicates that the "pig" (iron) has cooled enough to be safely handled.
On a side note, does this mean Rob Schneider gets to make movies with Kevin Sorbo, Dean Cain, Jon Voight and Kristy Swanson now?
Oh that's right. I think I've actually heard that somewhere else before, and forgot until I read your post.In fact pigs sweat very little, if at all.
