Last night I just laid there and tossed and turned. I'm lucky if I got 3 hours of sleep. I wasn't sick or anything like that, the sleep gene just would not activate. I hate that.
Whenever I hear "there's an app for that" I always hear it as "there's a nap for that".

As far as I know, there's bubonic plague all over the western U.S., and people get it occasionally. I guess I heard the main problem is realizing what it is, in time to cure it.
I took my big watering can out to give my plants a drink this morning and when i started to fill it a teeny tiny little frog popped out and sat there just by the filling hole. After I finished filling the can from the hose, he popped back inside and I never saw him again. I left a little water in the can for him. I wonder if he'll be there tomorrow too.
I had a frog named George that sometimes lived in my mailbox. I think he jumped on the mail lady once because I heard her shriek.
I was kind of daydreaming today what if gravity was optional and you could turn it on or off as you please or change the amount of gravity, and how that would change the world.
I've been playing Words With Friends since quarantine started and I've noticed something with a lot of the players that get matched with me on average scores. I keep beating people who are way better at finding words than me just because they don't realize that the board configuration is different from Scrabble and changes the strategy. Nobody pays attention to the fact triple letter is only three tiles away from triple word, and allows you to potentially 9x or even 12x a ten point letter.
So there are these games where people get way ahead of me at the start, but then when we get to the edge of the board, I get a 60 point play playing FERN and pull ahead.
Why do these basic obvious strategies seem not to occur to most players?

^I am not a strategist; I’m an English major and a dismal Scrabble player. My brother the Mainframe programmer is all about the points and plays for blood. Two completely different approaches and I always lose.
Never made past issue two because our local comic shop had a distribution mercifulness but I am thinking about getting the trade paperback book. You can’t turn it back on but the gravity has suddenly been reduced on earth and chaos ensues.

I'm so bored. It's too hot outside, I'm trying not to spend money frivolously, and hubby is usually asleep most of the day.
