But he seemed very pleased about what he got done last night, so maybe he will keep doing it. I even asked for a try and he said it might be too hard for me to control -- yeah, that's bullshit but that's less work for me, so I don't care. He has a new toy now and seems to really like it.![]()
Ha! Our back "patio" is 5ft square. What I really want is for him to get the front patio and the driveway. But it's supposed to rain all weekend, so he gets a break for now.![]()

There may be a pandemic out there in the world but at least today is bright and sunny and looks beautiful. Every little bit helps make this mess go by faster.

So I was browsing the Kobo site this afternoon, and I saw a book about a killer that referenced my city's nickname in the title. So I clicked on the listing to see the description, and sure enough, it was actually about my city. It was a non-fiction book about an unsolved serial killer case in my city decades ago. I hadn't heard about this before (to be fair, it was before I was born), so I thought I'd do some poking around on Google to learn more about it.
It turns out the first thing I found was actually about a *completely different* serial killer from my city. Researching further, I found out we actually had a number of serial killers in our history, and in fact, at one point, we were considered the "serial killer capital" not only of Canada, but of the world, because at the time, we were suspected to have the highest number of active serial killers per capita of any city on the planet.
I don't know why I'd never heard of this before, but it's kinda creepy as hell.
a friend of mine is from regina and what he says about diversions (or the lack of them) gives me the creeps.None taken.
It actually wasn't that long ago. TV existed. (Although I guess I don't really know how widespread it was around here at the time.)
