I've heard of the tomato festival in Spain which looks messy and hilarious but not lobsters. That's crazy!![]()
There's one where they free sharp-horned cows on the streets. People are often hurt, even killed.

Sure You don't mix up? Tomato festivals are usually in August and the rallying of the fighter bulls through the streets at the local start of the bullfighting season (February to May)There's one where they free sharp-horned cows on the streets. People are often hurt, even killed.
There’s a little girl singing, alone, in our garden. I’m wondering, where the hell are my own kids?
It’s not normalDo you mean you're worried or is that the usual?
It’s not normal
Isn't funny that there's a star whose name sounds exactly like Beetlejuice?
Maybe you should make inquiries in the neighborhood then.
There's Shadenfreude, feeling joy at the misfortune of others,
& it's opposite, Fremdsham, feeling badly about the misfortune of others, which I guess is just being compassionate?
it's other opposite, Mitgefühl (To keep it in German) or feeling joy for the good fortune of others (also just compassion)
or it's other opposite, Eifersucht, which is feeling badly about the good fortune of others (Jealousy)
But today, a tiny, cute, barely verbal toddler girl peeked over her mother's shoulder, & called me papa, in the department store line, to which we all giggled a bit, when I smiled & gently gave a "no" head shake to her, & while both very sweet & somewhat complimentary... also a little uncomfortable TBH. WTF is the word for that?
Dangit, I knew I'd be picking the wrong one for jealousy. I should've went for the one that meant envyeifersucht is in deed straight out jealousy (but more about the girls (or guys) what you adressed is called neid
I see. Sort of identifying with someone's embarrassing situation. It's still just another flavor of sympathy though, yeah?fremdschämen means to be embarrassed for someone's lunacy (that's normally somebody you have sth in common with like a fellow trekkie or somesuch)
Then WTF is the one for feeling good or happy about someone's good fortune?mitgefühl means feeling sorry for someone's bad luck or loss

Then WTF is the one for feeling good or happy about someone's good fortune?or does this one cover both? because I swear somewhere online I heard this one meant that too
But having a celebration isn't exactly a feeling. Something akin to how we use the word delighted. Delighted is a feeling we usually reserve for expressing how we feel when someone's had good fortune. I guess it doesn't really matter. I'm way down the rabbit hole here lolnope, try 'having a celebration'
Any strange smells, flies, or mail stacking up?There have been 30 full days of peace and quiet at home. Literally zero activity from the noisy neighbour. The best case scenarios are that he's either abandoned home or gone to jail. Worst case scenario is that he's just on holiday, but it doesn't make sense when he kicked off last time about having no money.
Also... I'm wondering if he's notified anyone about leaving for this long, because you can't leave the house unoccupied for 4 weeks. Not knowing the full facts is starting to drive me crazy.
After everything that's happened it would be nice if the universe has stepped in and said bye Felicia. (Or maybe it's just deja vu all over again because the first noisy neighbour got up and went.) This week will be interesting though.
On the plus side, I've been sleeping a lot better.
