Random Thoughts...or...What's on Your Mind?

I don't understand why some "Intellectuals" wear their neglect and therefore total incompetence in anything scientific like a stupid badge of honor. Ignorance is one thing. Being proud of it is the mark of a fool!

Could you elaborate?

I think they're talking about this:

Poopgate continues.

This morning, there were two piles of dog poop outside my home. Technically I saw one big pile and didn't see the other one diagonal to it. I stuck my head out my door, too lazy to step out, but was assured it was there. I'm grateful to be anosmic (weak sense of smell.)

The official letter/warning last month hasn't made much difference. I know there's gonna be another letter soon.

It's been fairly quiet but I haven't trusted it. Experience with my antisocial neighbour has taught me that it doesn't last forever. The spider sense was tinglin'! :)

Otherwise, I've had a good day.

Doesn't this affect your sense of taste as well?

Taste is fine. I mean... Last week, I ate half of the spicy kimchi at the Korean restaurant. I love kimchi but it was STRONG lol. (Usually it's mixed in with other stuff.)

Mostly, I can smell strong odours or anything up close.

Found a dead cat on my property. It looked like it's been hit by something from behind, maybe a car, then walked a certain distance willy nilly and finally died of pain and exhaustion. I felt sad, even though I never knew that cat alive. I buried it in my garden.

The reason I asked is because if I get a cold and I can't smell, I can't taste either. I had assumed that the two senses were always connected.

I know someone who keeps complaining about pretty much everything. He's never happy. I am sure that if the believers were right and he ended in paradise, he'd still find something to complain about there. :guffaw:

I've heard four distinct emergency siren events (ambulances, fire engines, police) in the 45 minutes I've been awake.

Did you take any photos first and check to see if it belonged to anyone?

No, I didn't. His face was contorted in pain. If I owned that cat I definitely wouldn't want to see him that way.
Sometimes when it comes to things like this, ignorance is bliss.

My dog ran away when I was a kid, she was older. I always imagined that a sweet elderly couple found her and they spent their golden years together.

I wouldn’t want to know if she didn’t have a happy fate.

My name is Chris. And for some reason, my landlord has a mental block about the H. My mailbox label says Cris. I didn’t get emails from him because he subtracted the H from my email address.

I do not understand this. The only explanation I can think of is he has a never before diagnosed neurological condition of Silent H Aphasia.

Either that or he’s so religious it causes him existential pain to write Christ.
