Is "I'm going to have a hot cup of coa coa" a typically USA kind of thing to say or is that just movies and TV that we import?

I think most people in the US say "hot chocolate" rather than hot cocoa.
Never of "Milo" in my life. Had to look it up. That seems more like malted chocolate. Again, never had it, so I can't say.

Back in the 1980s, it seemed like every pop song had a saxophone solo. It was a good decade for sax players -- they got a lot of work.
I have heard it said that it is best to not fight a rip current…just go with it, and swim along the length of the shore, then let the surf carry you in…otherwise you could cramp up, suffer a heart attack, etc.

I have a mystery for you to solve. Just a moment ago it felt and sounded like a door closed downstairs directly below me along the back yard wall. However, that type of door does not exist below me, and neither this house nor the surrounding houses have that type of door for the back yard. But I know what I heard and felt. 
80 years ago today. I thought about this exact incident on the morning of September 11, 2001.
