I think it's ludicrous that the US hold their election then it's not for another 2 months that power is handed over.Why the hell are people so surprised that biden pardoned his son? Everybody knew he was gonna do that.

It's like how the Kennedy family made that whole Chappaquiddick thing magically go away. Teddy should have been charged with motor vehicle homicide, but he was a Kennedy, so he gets away with it. Same story here.![]()
If they did like they do in the UK and have an immediate handover then this sort of thing would be less likely to happen as a sitting president is unlikely to do something like this while they, or their next candidate, is running for president.
Doesn't make sense to me, for people in the US does it not feel like you are in limbo waiting for the next president to assume control, even if you didn't vote for that person?
