Ditto. They seemed far more interested in showing torture and suffering than psychological analysis and investigation techniques.
About Mandy: he has left "Chicago Hope," "Dead Like Me" and "Criminal Minds" pretty abruptly, mostly because he suffers from episodic bouts of depression. It could come on quickly and severely, so he goes back to New York to be with his family when it does.
If I recall, he had a hard time getting "Homeland" because they were afraid he wouldn't be reliable enough.

We were watching Close Encounters the other day and that last 40 minutes is just so well done...... But does the mothership arrive one way and flip over when it lands? Also how the fuck did it hide behind the tower so well, or did they cloak?

I had kind of a WTF moment on my bike ride this morning. I was on my phone while taking a break at around 7:30AM, and I noticed that the temperature on the top bar said it was 96º, but I was thinking it didn't feel that hot so I checked The Weather Channel app, and it said it was actually 96º. Now, I'm not sure which was worse, that it was 96º at 7:30AM, or that it didn't feel that hot to me. To put things in perspective every day for the last two weeks has been in the 110s, with most of them getting up to 117º or 118º. I believe we set the record for the most consecutive days over 110º and the forcast doesn't haven them stopping until we get a 109º day next week. And since it's that far out, there's a decent chance the temp will go up and we'll stay at 110º+.

The UFO/UAP stuff is getting a bit much. Feels like a distraction, which makes me feel like I'm in Inception. This stuff has been quiet for well over a decade. Now, it's strangely always in the news. I don't get it. It's been fringe for so long.
