At IHOP. Am I imagining things or did they used to have a variety of syrup? The only one on every table is “old fashioned.”

I meant at restaurants. I haven't been to a breakfast place in a long time but I remember jams and maple syrup.Blueberry, strawberry, butter pecan, and old fashioned maple.
It depends on the maple syrup. I usually don't like most restaurants ones, so I don't pay attention to it at all. I have jam, usually raspberry, on my pancakes at home, or on the rare occasion I eat out for breakfast at a sit down restaurant.Maple syrup is gross.
I love real natural maple syrup.Maple syrup is gross.

I buy Vons Signature brand imitation maple syrup because the real thing is damned expensive. It tastes the same to me.Costco maple syrup is so good.

Ah, thank you. Yeah, my lack of recent experience at a breakfast restaurant is showing. Those ARE the flavors at the restaurant. IHOP has different syrups--they used to keep them on the tables but after COVID, you have to ask for them .
I actually saw a horse die during the chuckwagon races at the Calgary Stampede.
(Well I didn’t actually see it die, as such; I saw it fall over. But later they had to put it down.)
