"Radio Voices" You Like to Listen To

For regular radio programs: Gary Owens' show on KMPC Los Angeles in the 60s and 70s, Vin Scully's Dodgers-game broadcasts, Hilly Rose's late-night call-in show on KFI (think Larry King's old radio show, only better and snappier.)

For radio-type material, radio theater and other voice acting; nothing tops Stan Freberg and his 50s-60s associates June Foray, Paul Frees, Daws Butler, Hans Conreid, Jesse White and others.

Cartoon voices: Mel Blanc

The only ones I end up hearing as far as talk radio are Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Roger Hedgecock (whom I've met twice--he knows the Boneys of Henry's Marketplace fame here in San Diego--Henry Boney's wife, Jesse Grame, is my maternal grandfather's sister).

I adore Sean Hannity.

As far as historical personalities go, I'm quite fond of hearing clips of Wolfman Jack (you might know him from American Graffiti). What a voice.
