Who da man? :wtf:

It wouldn't be the first time the Doctor has tried to be trendy. Hopefully the dialogue will actually go something like this:

Doctor: Who da man!

Amy: If you ever want to see me wearing a mini-skirt again, Doctor, you will never say that again!

Alex

Lovin the quote, however, they sound great now, but i cant wait to see the actual episode/situation that fuels them cos that will be the clincher.

Episode 11: "All I have to do is pass as an ordinary human being. What could possibly go wrong?"

Love em.

There's a part of me that really hopes that the Episode 12/13 quote is about:

The Doctor...as in, that is some other character's perception of a twisted legend about him...

I know I'm probably waaay off, but still...

The April 3-9 issue of the Radio Times not only featured pics of the new TARDIS interior, it also contained a brief synopsis for each of the 13 episodes from Series 5. Look below, if you dare…
(Special thanks to TARDIS Base for transcribing this straight from the Radio Times)
1. The Eleventh Hour
Writer: Steven Moffat
Guest Starts: Annette Crosbie, Nina Wadia, and Arthur Darvill

No time to rest and recover, no Tardis, no screwdriver – just six billion human beings about to die and only one man to save them. But the new Doctor encounters more than danger – this is the day he meets Amy Pond. Can he persuade her to trust him, when he’s been letting her down all her life?
Quote: “Who da man?”

A two-part story. A crashed spaceship, a shattered temple and a terrifying climb through the maze of the dead – River Song is back in the Doctor’s life, and she’s brought more trouble than even he can handle. The last of the Weeping Angels is loose in the ruins of Alfava Metraxis, and the Doctor is recruited to track it down. “Dont Blink!” everyone tells Amy – but as Amy is about to discover, not blinking, might just be the worst thing you can do…

6. Vampires in Venice

In Venice, even danger is beautiful. The House of Calvierri has the whole city under its protection, but something is very wrong. There are blood-drained corpses in the street, something lurks in the canal, and the Calvierri girls are the loveliest in town, except when you glance in the mirror…

7. Amy’s Choice

The Doctor faces his greatest challenge yet – a flat share! People are disappearing on Aickman Road, and the Doctor must solve the mystery of a staircase that people walk up – but never down.

A message on the oldest cliff-face in the universe, a puzzle box opening from the inside and a love that lasts thousands of years…The fates are drawing close around the Tardis – is this the day the Doctor falls?

It's still along ways away maybe 10 years to 15 but one word comes to mind

Valeyard

TV&SW reckons the finale will feature

Daleks, rusty Cybermen, Sontarrans and Stonehenge

so, if true, that torpedoes any ideas of Moff ending Rusty's everything-except-the-kitchen-sink finales...

Some of these episodes sound like they could be amazing!!

Amy's Choice sounds very interesting - jumping several years into the future.

Some people had created this fantasy version of Moffat in their heads and drew up a list of thing he "wouldn't do" or "would definitely change" and have been wrong about them all so far!

I laughed my head off when I played the Red Button clip and heard Murry Gold's over-the-top bombastic music still in place.

The fantasy is that Moffat is a "true fan" who "really gets what Doctor Who is about", and since all these people see themselves as "true fans" who "really get what Doctor Who is about", they expect Moffat to do everything that they would do, were they in his position.

Some might say they're slightly delusional.

Lets see. New cast, rebuilt Tardis exterior with a brand new control room, new opening titles and theme music. Nope, I can't think how fans could imagine Moffat doing things differently. ;)

Honestly though, I think Mirrorball nailed it. Try getting any group of hardcore fans to agree on much of anything.

But anyway, my jaw is dropping from those synopsis. Epic stuff! Tho I'm bummed that the show is still mostly set on Earth.
