Radio 1, 2, 3... Linked to age???

Some of the non-BBC local stations are decent, they almost never play a song I don't like, but they don't have good news, and the commercials are a pain. I really groan whenever anyone turns on BBC Cornwall or Devon (or any other local BBC station for that matter). They have nothing but talking about local news and other things that I couldn't give a shit about, and the odd song about once every 20 minutes.

That is one of the reasons why I don't want to change from Triple J (similar to Radio 1 in the UK). Plus I've been listening to them for 15 years plus now. If I switch it will be to one of the other ABC stations, as many former Triple J presenters are still there. Plus I don't want to hear the latest song from Nickelback or any other artist they consider hot. Plus the J's are national, so I can pick them up anywhere here, and online if I ever travel overseas.
