Question on season 2 blurays.....

I'm considering making my collection complete, and buying TOS on bluray. Odd thing is, on the Dutch website where I order my media from, two reviewers had comments on how you couldn't pause the blurays, and they had tested them on several players.

One of the reviewers also complained that discs 2 and 6 wouldn't play, on several players, and that several replacement discs had the same issues.

So, I was wondering, are these known issues for season 2 of TOS on bluray?

I didn't get the European release but the US release instead for better packaging than the UK complete set. However the US release of Season 2 throws up a Connection Failed error when a disc is inserted in a Panasonic Blu-ray player for no reason (The connection doesn't actually fail, and you can still access the BD Live content). That's the only error I've found so far. I'm in the middle of season 3 at the minute.

Well no error other than the TOS-R effects. Yuk!

If I buy it, I'm buying the seperate seasons, since they're 32 euros a season now, and the whole set in that awfull carton box is far more expensive, oddly enough.

But I guess it was a just a fluke, then.

I got mine on sale from Amazon.com last year for £50 including postage and customs, $59.99 marked price then, all three seasons bundled. It's about twice that price now though.

English 7.1 DTS-HD MA audio, DD 2.0 mono English French, Spanish, with optional English, Spanish, French, Brazilian Portuguese subtitles.

Might be worth waiting.
