Question about tuvok

Although there's these lines form Stranger in a Strange world I like to pull out now and again about sexual dysfunction...

Something about how if you stab dozens of wholes into your garden hose, you'll be watering the garden with a trickle and not unearthing the esalias with a torrent.
 
I like a lot of his short stories. 'Starship Troopers' was OK (then again, no time-travel or Oedipal stuff there) - gave me great ideas for the first sf RPG I ever played in (the 'Thirty Second Grenade' ... plus variants :D ).

Always saw Boothby as the 'Mr Miyagi' type, myself.
 
To Tuvok humanity was strickly - to grin and bear-it. He kept a job in the academy because it was better than doing nothing and flying high. Tuvok never said anything to the inferior race unless it was possible to improve upon it.
I got half way through Heinlein's 'Time Enough for Love' but I never liked it- still have the book.
