I repurchased season 6 on dvd recently as a gift for someone and when it arrived I saw that it was completely different from my TNG dvd sets that I bought years ago.
The early season boxes are very think/durable and open like a book, while this new set's outer package is flimsier and has a very thin flap that you open from the front to get inside. It still has the same silver case look and spine, so the season six set won't look out of place.
Are these boxes legit? Did Paramount rerelease the sets in cheaper packaging when I wasn't looking? This is about the America TNG dvd sets BTW. I ordered directly from Amazon.
