I agree about Mills in the 4th one, although it has been an awful long time since I saw it, and I remember it being somewhat unsettling.

The first 2 episodes were really great. Then damn near nothing happened for the following (almost 2 hour) remainder of the runtime. Kneale knew it was gonna be cut down to a 90 minute film version, so he filled the TV version with a ton of filler that could be cut. It really destroys the pacing.

Today I start Beasts.
