Public Resource Enterprise.

Well, let's swerve this back on topic and take a look at the two best examples we have of publicly available plans of the Enterprise, specifically, the Sinclair and Casimiro drawings.

First, here they are side by side, Casimiro in red, Sinclair in blue...

And overlaid...

Hey Can we get a set of 3d Glasses to look at the picture :D now will it jump out of the screen at me? :klingon: nice comparison job there

What you have to keep in mind is that these are to scale (vs. Jeffries non-scaled) drawings of the actual 134" studio model. This means you can build them as drawn, unlike the Jeffries drawings which cannot be built to any scale, but merely represented either intentional mis-information or an imprecise fanciful design that really is not reflective of the ship in the TV series anyway.

As far as I'm concerned, that drawing is NOT the Enterprise. It doesn't even look like the ship in the series with that new hull design.

Thanks for bringing the thread back on topic CRA and thanks for your contribution.

Hey Joe, what do ya know? ;)

More correctly, what do you want to know?

Here's something I have yet to see anyone correctly depict in their blueprints or cartoons:
http://www.thomasmodels.com/bumpity.jpg

Which or course would effect the entire shape of their secondary hulls.

Thomas, a niceguy.

Examined the studio model on 13 Dec, with the NASM curator, and there is no such "bump".

When posting, you might want to also post the source of your "facts". The photo you have is of a model which is inaccurate.

It was proven by REL this was Sasser's attempt to sabotage projects that are in competition with his. The image is a Photoshopped forgery.

Do you have a link? This sounds like an interesting confrontation.

You'll have to ask Richard to see it.

This is a friendly, in this case for trolling ThomasModels. What happens to and regarding members on other boards stays on other boards. It would've been sufficient to simply say that the picture had been proven a fake.
