PS4 - Controller(s) Issue

Anyone had an issue of their PS4 not syncing, recognising or even charging PS4 controllers?

Got 2 controllers, different cables but NOTHING works. My PC can detect them fine so it's not the controllers themselves or the cables leaving the PS4 as the culprit.

Anyone had this issue or heard about it?

Have you tried resetting both controllers? There's a small hole behind the L2 trigger. Push a needle or paper clip into the hole to reset.

I get the occasional issue where the PS4 won't recognize the controller after turning the PS4 on with it, but nothing of the sort. And yeah, i suspect resetting it would do some good. It probably needs to get re-initialized and paired with the PS4.

I restarted the PS4 (plug out restart) then left the USB/controller in and after about 10 minutes it just decided to realise there was a controller via USB connected to it. God knows what it was but glad it worked because I brought Spyro today and it's awesome.

Had an issue lately where the controller wasn't charging with the PS4 in rest mode. I altered the power save settings to "keep charging" instead of "charge for 3 hours" and this seems to have resolved it.

I usually just use a USB cord plugged into an outlet when I charge mine, that way I don't have to worry about the system being on.
