Production Order Group Viewing 2018

I don't know when that photo was taken; it could have been a decade or so ago. This one was taken in September 2018:

Funny that by the age of 87 Zephram Cochrane had already landed on Alpha Centauri and planned to die out in space! :D

The amazing part that it's not just his looks. His energy, mental faculties, sense of humor and personality are fully intact. He has such a good understanding of the world and his life and his iconic status and his place in fandom. He is very self depreciating and full of wonderful stories. Warm and sharp and aware even at this late stage in life, I can only hope I stay so busy and motivated when I am that age. I saw him last year at a Q&A hosting Wrath of Khan playing in a Concert Hall. For anyone that has never seen it, I highly recommend both seasons of Better late than Never. It is hilarious and heartwarming and I'm just so glad that it exists.

The fact that they have not had him voicing an animated Captain Kirk the last few years is a shame. The man can still speak and still has full range, that's for sure. He never stops writing, singing, recording or performing. If only.......

If only.

It's interesting now to compare how these actors look(ed) in their old age compared to how these actors looked when made up to be old. Actually, Shatner looks pretty good for 82.

Shatner will be turning 88 this March 22. And I have a suspicion that he's had cosmetic surgery at some point. Still he's extremely active both physically and mentally.

We need more side-by-sides of all the accelerated-aged actors in this episode: Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Scotty, misc. woman, did I miss anyone? Not Chekov.

88!!!!! He looks great for 88. He looks better in real life at 88 than the approximately 70 he was made up to be in the show.
The fake aged Kirk is much older in that picture. The age you quote was from an earlier inquiry scene:
COMPUTER: Working. Subject's physical age based on physiological profile, between sixty and seventy two. Aging rapidly.
KIRK: No, I'm thirty four. I'm thirty four years old.
His toupee looks forty, though.

Funny that he looked like he was wearing a syrup in the films but not in the series! His Voyage Home interview on the DVD is hilarious with the fake strands of 'his hair' floating about in the wind! :D

And here is a comparison for Lt. Galway :

and a recent (not sure when) photo of actress Beverly Washburn:

Who do you most resemble since you first watched Star Trek and now?

I'm definitely like Kirk except with real Scotty's weight.

Well considering that DeForest was also wearing a syrup his is the farthest from actuality that you can get!!!
