Primeval Series 3 (Spoilers)

Does Primeval have the same writers it did for s1/s2? Because why don't they remember how time travel works in their universe?

They changed the future in the S1 finale, but NIck & Helen weren't affected as they were in the past and the stuff that got left behind in the past altered the future in some ways so when they popped back thru the anomaly we have the S2/S3 present with the ARC, with Claudia Brown being Jenny, etc...

Why would Helen agree with Danny about killing off the early ancestors of humanity and thus preventing evolution of our species somehow affecting her and Danny? They're in the past. If she succeeded in killing off humanity they could simply step through a portal and see what the year 2009 looks like with what she did. She wouldn't suddenly disappear Back To the Future style.

I hate it when shows don't keep their own mythos consistent.

That pissed me off too.

they bring up Claudia over and over again as proof that Helen and Nick were from and altered history but she forgets that she can survive te destruction of more future history.

odd also that the death of the hominoids were predestined and according to the plan already that helen wasn't deviating from history at all.
How odd.

Hellens death was odd.

Nice ending.

Not as good as the final Sliders but light years ahead of Reaper.

Primeval seems to suffer from a no-kill code for their heroes, thus when a villain needs to die they have it done by other creatures in a way that the heroes are blameless. It's kind of lame, really.

Am I the only one that has a suspicion that Danny will end up romantically involved with a female homonid, thus becoming the father of the entire human race.?

if what Helen did was predestined, why did they not find her body, and that of a dinosaur? when they found the apemen (for want of a better term)

I was wondering that?
I was disappointed that there was no Litser.
I know there will not be a 3rd series of moving wall paper so if we do get a series 4 hopefully we will see a bit more of him.
Also i think its a good idea to start to gun training for the rest of the team and arm them:lol:
Even Mckay in SGA got to shoot things.

Anyone else feel the story lost focus since Cutter and Jenny went? And think it'll lose even more focus now that Helen is gone too?

I do. It just hasn't been as much fun since. I noted the absence of postings that followed his departure, and wondered if people were as apathetic as I. The 'new team bonding' episode out in the country with the oversized chickens(?) was a misfire for me. Connor moving out when Abby's kid brother showed up made little sense, as they were platonic roommates anyway, and he was hardly a 3rd grader. I actually like action dude-can't recall his name at the moment, who took Steven's place, and am a tad miffed that Danny's pretty much taken over in that capacity.
It just feels like we've wasted the last 2 series getting invested in Cutter, and now with him gone, they've cut loose all the stuff he was tied to. No explanation for how/if Helen did something to alter the timeline, changing Claudia Brown to Jenny. Helen's clone army, where are they, and what happens to them now that she's out of the picture-if she's really out of the picture. :alienblush:

well if the show comes back for a 4th series we should assume that Danny is rescued, so maybe Helens body & the dinosaur are "rescued" as well, so they can be buried in there correct time periods.
