Just read this book for the first time and loved it but, sadly, felt it didn't add much to the character of Kruge. I admit that Kruge is my all time favorite Klingon and I have the same sort of "Draco in Leather Pants" feelings towards him that many Star Wars fans have for Grand Admiral Thrawn.

#KRUGEWASRIGHT.

I actually liked Vanguard a bit more for playing into Kruge's fears.
