interested in knowing which era of Trek you find most interesting to watch. List some rationale if you like!

For me, in order of preference:

1. TOS Movie Era
2. TOS Era

3. Pre-TOS Era

4. Kelvin Timeline Era
5. TNG Era

My appreciation for that era is MUCH greater now. I did an ENT binge-watch for the first time since the series aired (and I had missed more than half the episodes in first-run) and I found it to be very energetic and fun. Good stuff.
Definitely ENT era. Enterprise is, and probably ever shall be, my favorite Trek show.

TOS movie era is what got me into Trek in the first place. It's seems less campy than TOS.

Voted Pre-TOS and TOS era, before all that "evolved humanity" crap. The characters were more believable and easier to relate to.

Next would be TOS movie era and then the 24th century - specifically DS9 more than TNG and VOY. The so-called "Kelvinverse" doesn't register for me.

I'm not totally sure how I should vote...DS9 is my fave Trek, but I actually "prefer" the TOS/TOS movie eras. Hmm...I think I'll vote for TOS movie era. :)

23rd century (I don't separate series and movies), then 24th century (again series and movies), lastly 22nd century.

The Abrams universe wouldn't be on any "preferred list."
... pity the franchise never covered the Romulan war and the founding of the Federation
I think that the Romulan War (if done right) would be interesting. I've never understood some fans wish for a "founding of the Federation" story line, now a more detailed building of Starfleet set during and after the Romulan War would be great.

The Federation was generally just this vague ill-defined thing somewhere in the background of the various series.

I grew up with TNG, so my Golden Age of Trek pretty organically coincides with that era that also arguably happened to be Star Trek's Golden Era in terms of sheer volume of content created for TV.

My closest relationship to TOS is the movie era (TUC and GEN are among my favorite Trek movies), so that would be #2.

#3 (I don't know, maybe tied with #2) would be pre-TOS / ENT.

Not sure yet where I'd put the Kelvin timeline. Probably tied for either #2 or #3.

I would count TMP with TOS (or as its own thing), it never really seemed to be connected to the rest of the movies in anything more than a superficial manner.

I would go with the TOS era, followed by early TNG, and then the Enterprise era.

TNG/DS9 era. It was when I was growing up and I was really loving anything Trek was bringing out.

T.O.S. period, space exploration, not preachy space diplomacy...
Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy the latter shows, just not as much as good ol' Star Trek
with no bloody A,B,C or D..
