Posters who are awesome that you'd like to meet

I was in Baltimore in May, ah well.

Did you go to Camden Yards?

Yup

I am sure there are a lot of people on this board I would enjoy meeting and talking to and have a lot in common with. But I could never make it happen. I still have my social anxiety to the extent that meeting strangers blind would really cause the anxiety level to go throught he roof. That's why I am always more comfortable behind a keyboard where I think I am at least somewhat intelligent and conversant. Even though most people in my life have seemed to like me and I've made a lot of friends in the past I have this image of myself as being really bad at meeting new people and turning them off. Ironic because the one and only time I ever met someone through the internet that person ending up being my future wife.

You're not the only one. 6 years here and I don't think I've ever gotten a mention in one of these threads. Oh well.

You should start one in the sports forum - that's where I know you from particularly.

I'm thinking about it. That's pretty much where I post the most.

^I thought about listing you, but I figure we'd just fight over the All-Star game, and no one wants that. ;)

Probably, but it would be fun. I still say Kung Fu Panda should have gotten in.

People I don't really know but think would be fun to meet

You're goddamn right I'm fun to meet. :) (Though I must admit that my sports-related rants are sorely toned down in any sort of interpersonal setting.)

Even though I disagree slightly with it, I think it would be hilarious to see one of your Joe Morgan rants in real life. ;)

Over Howard, sure. He's one of my least favorite Phils. But, he's from St. Louis and that's a big part of why he got picked to go. Shane though, scored one of our 3 runs and got a hit.

And he was vindicated. What did Worth do. I know it's a MLB rule, but it's a stupid rule. Anyway, we're taking this off topic a bit.

Werth made a nice grab to end the top of the 8th apparently - I kind of went to bed before the game ended. :o

JKTim, you'd have to rant about SOMETHING if I were to meet you. In fact, I'll sit there and praise Russell T's finales and use the worstest grammar in the universe just to provoke you.

Hell, I'd even give five fingers, but I have to save one for, you know ... when we meet.
What a pathetic thing to say about someone. Don't ever do this again in Miscellaneous.
Holy crap! I'm totally sorry. That did not at all come across the way I intended it to. I didn't even realize until you pointed it. It's just, a guy can't shake without any hands. ;)

I would never say anything so vulgar.
