My old dog Beau. He took his final car trip last Friday. He had arthritis so bad he couldn't even stand up and walk anymore. He was probably 15, he'd been with us for 13 years after we rescued him from the pound.

I have named this cat "Orphan Kitty". It was all I could do to get a few decent pictures. I think it's a female that has been coming around my house for a few months. I've been putting a small bowl of food out most every night trying to lure her closer so I can get her accustomed to me. Last Saturday, some damned sneaky possum cleaned out the bowl, and I plunked it with a BB gun while it was running off.

If the cat is female, I want to take her to the vet and get her fixed right away. Some of the neighbors have Toms, and the last thing the world needs is more feral cats.
