Rupert usually barks when he needs out. The rest of the time, a subtle fart proves to be an effective reminder.
I'll see your tummy rub, and raise you a tummy rub with a toy. I know you're moving, but don't forget me! This moving thing is exhausting. I need a nap!
Helena is off getting spayed today. I'm definitely antsy to hear back from the vet that everything went ok...
Smoothie, I'm sure she'll be fine. Sending positive vibes anyway! I don't remember your brown dog's name, but those puppy pictures are too darn cute of him! Our Zoe is an attack dog. She attacks the evil paper shredder, the vicious garbage pail and the demonic calender. I swear, the dog is on acid.
The Chocolate Lab is Rupert. My wife wanted a Chocolate Lab named Rupert since she was a little girl. We signed a lease on a dog friendly house right before her birthday, and I found a breeder with pups ready to go home right as we were going to move, so I surprised her for her birthday and took her to pick one out. Helena is named after the capital of Montana. The mrs. and I met in MT.
If that's the case, you really need to read more! Some girls think about their dream wedding when they are little, she just wanted a brown dog. I like that kind of 'low maintenance' woman.
When we first got Beau from the pound, the fence wasn't finished yet, so we took him out on a leash for about a week or so. When he had to go out, he would grab the leash off the back doorknob and walk past me to my wife. The best was when he had to go out at 2am, he dropped the leash on her and woke her up.
I cannot believe I missed this thread until now. Don't know where my head was at. Smoothie, those pictures of your pooches are wonderful! I love the one of them in the car, and am incredibly honored that you thought of me. Hope Helena came through with no ill effects (except being stoned from the anesthetic) and makes a full and speedy recovery. And now, a few of my boys, Kodi and Ledger (back when we still had snow): Peters' Hill, Arnold Arboretum with Boston in the background. Also at "The Arb" Sibling rivalry. Kodi Pouncing. More to come.
TREKKIEMONSTER: I wuv dem!!!!!!! It's pictures like yours of the two of them playing that made us look for our second dog (Dora). Seeing two dogs happy together convinced us we needed a second dog. And it was one of the best decisions of our lives! Yours playing tug-o-war is too darn cute!!
