^ Sorry to hear about your dream (and your father). I've had dreams of friends, co-workers, and relatives who passed away, and like you, there is a mixture of emotions (surprise, confusion, joy, sadness). I say sadness because I usually hug them and cry, though at the same time, everything feels natural and business-as-usual.
I can only recall vague details about the past few dreams I've had. In one dream, I was out in a field of what looked like
rice paddies, and I was with my work friends Tiffany and Sammy. The paddies were submerged in shallow, brackish water, and I could see oyster-like creatures in them, as if they were being farmed. This was an oyster farm (if such a thing even existed). The oysters looked different: instead of having two shells, each one was somewhat round and had a flat, smooth, almost polished shell, and right in the middle of the 6 - 7 inch shell was the fleshy center. It was bigger than most oysters I had seen, I thought, and after taking a few bites, I noted the soft texture and briny taste. My friends and I saw a few other colleagues from our department, and they too were oyster-picking. Tiffany said we should move our car to a closer spot near the paddies, but when Sammy and I went back to get our vehicle, we couldn't remember where we parked.
