Popular shows you have never seen

The West Wing and Lost.

Which is ironic because I was a background extra in an episode of The West Wing when they filmed in my home town.

Grey's Anatomy
The OC
ER
Supernatural
The Shield
Big Love
True Blood
The Sopranos
Dr. Who
Stargate Atlantis

24
Law and Order
(any version)
Coupling
Dexter
The West Wing
The Sopranos
Life on Mars
(either version)
The Office (either version)
Desperate Housewives
Seinfeld
Neighbours
Home and Away
Blue Heelers
All Saints
(if you've never heard of any of the last four, count yourself lucky)
Grey's Anatomy
House

Ugly Betty

and probably some others.

there are far too many shows to realistically be able to watch every one as they air (or timeshifted on DVR in the same week that they air)
you'd have to do almost nothing but watch TV

Desperate Housewives
Medium
American Idol
Dexter
Prison Break
The Shield
The Sopranos
Ugly Betty
The Office
Grey's Anatomy
(and the spin-off)
Gossip Girl
Dawson's Creek
30 Rock
*Lost
(have tried to watch a couple eps - just can't get interested in it)

I highly recomend NCIS
AMAZING SHOW!
Any show that can seriously throw in a line that David McCallum's character, Ducky, 'looked like Ilya Kuryakin when he was younger,' should be seen by everyone ;).

I have never seen:

Scrubs
House
Ugly Betty
The Office
The Wire
The Shield
(thought for a long time that these last two were the same show :p )
30 Rock
Charmed
The Gilmore Girls
Oprah
NYPD Blue
Gossip Girl
(this thread is the first time I've even heard of this show)
Dancing With the Stars

I watched Boston Legal, but I think that was actually a spinoff of The Practice, which I have never seen a single episode of.

I have also never sat through an entire episode of The Simpsons. I don't think I've ever made it past the 5-10 minute mark, in fact.

I only saw one episode of that show. It's the one where Homer reforms his old 'barbershop quartet' singing group.

stargate atlantis
lost
x factor
big brother
coronation street
eastenders
charmed
angel
to name but a few

Well, you've done better than I have then. I haven't watched enough of any episode to say "That one where...."

I think I've tried about 3 times to watch this show...and seriously, I never made it past about 6 minutes.

The West Wing thread made me think about all of the popular shows out there that I have never seen, even a little bit. I watch TV, but there are some shows that I have never watched an entire episode of:

West Wing
Lost
Heroes
Law and Order
CSI Miami and CSI New York (I have seen one episode of the original CSI - it had to do with stand up comedians. Thats all I remember)
Desperate Housewives
NCIS

I do plan on watching Lost and Heroes on DVD at some point in the near future...

I've never watched the same shows, expect Desperate Housewives which I watched just once. There are a few others that I haven't watched like Gilmore Girls, 90210, Melrose Place, etc.

Since when was Boston legal popular?

10 million viewers may not be record setting but these days it's nothing to sneeze at. Well, unless you work for ABC.

Oh, that's easy for me.... just about everything for the past 10 years. I tend to go for SF series but it all depends on the story and whether I want to make time to watch it. In any case to name a few offhand ...

Lost
Heroes
CSI Miami / NY
House (caught a couple, he's nuts :p still, no interest in watching)
Stargate

You should definitely check out Scrubs and House.

Btw, Gossip Girl was created by Josh Schwartz, the same guy that came up with The O.C.
