Please god... give me a decent line!

Uhura. Although she's fondly remembered as part of the main cast from TOS, she rarely had anything of significance to do. She had some good moments early in the series, but her part just kept dwindling and dwindling as things went on.

I disagree. I think she got more good lines in the second season than the third. And no part was less substantive than her broken record of "hailing frequencies open" in The Corbomite Maneuver.

Out of the modern series - who got the least development?

Was it Harry "shields at 50%!" Kim or that guy off Enterprise.. maysomething?

Hmmmm..limiting your thread to post-TOS shows. Must have some anti-TOS issue in your mind...

To answer this question I would have to go with Mayweather. But I'm not surprised. Aside from Sisko, African-Americans seemed to get short changed most of the time in modern-Trek as well as TOS.

Tell me Uhuras not an american! Please! I just watched the first season of TOS for the first time (with the exception of a few episodes I'd seen before)
I was hoping she was African or something.

Travis definitly got the least development which was a shame as he was damm hot.

Well, we learn in The Man Trap that she speaks Swahili so from a 20th/21st Century perspective that would imply she's African.
