It's getting really hard to find PERTINENT, MEANINGFUL information about STAR TREK (2008) in this forum, because it's being flooded with FANWANK speculation.

Yes, I love William Shatner as much as the next Trekkie. I think it would be nice to see him make a cameo in the picture if possible, but it isn't going to happen. You'll run into all kinds of plot problems if you were to do something like that... Considering Spock is probably going to be 190 years old, that would make Kirk 189?
