Why is Ronan dressed as a test cricketer?

Due to Australia's alliance with the US and our most important asset, the Australian national cricket team, getting royally flogged by India we have convinced the US to let us claim Ronan as an Australian citizen to help revitalise our top order bating.

I hope he does the david carusso thing with the glasses

That's a great shot to end on, if it is to be the last scene.

The gate tech girl is a little random though, but if she's the same as the one in First Contact, then cool, I liked her.

If they were going to throw some random gate tech into the final scene, then wouldn't it be more appropriate to use Chuck? After all, had SG-1 used a tech other than Walter for its final scene, I imagine many fans would have been upset.

Ghost? How about a clone of Grodin? What, is Carson the only one who's allowed to be cloned?

For that matter, throw in a clone of Ford. Or actual Ford, who ascended in the final moments of his life. Or Replicator duplicate Ford. Or...

No Zelenka for the last shot? Bastards!

Not that I've watched an episode of Atlantis in like a year. But I like Zelenka.

Hey cool Major Davis is back! Carter has been promoted 4 times while he remains a Major. Poor guy.

Despite the caption, the rank insignia looks like it's silver. That means Davis may have finally made Lt. Colonel.

Five years is a short run now? Man, Stargate fans really are spoiled. :wtf:

Well, SG-1 lasted ten years. Obviously, no one really expected Atlantis to last that long, but some hoped it could make it to seven years like most of the Star Trek shows did.

I like to think there are 3 series of Stargate. Stargate SG-1 from showtime, which lasted 5 years. Stargate SG-1 from sci-fi, which lasted for 5 years too. Then there's Stargate Atlantis, which lasted 5 years.

I look at it with SG-1 lasting 8 years. SG-1 - Part II lasting 2 years. And Atlantis lasting 5.

Part 2 should never have been made in that case

While I enjoyed seasons 9 and 10, part of me wishes that they were the beginning of another spin-off or they retitled the show (which was actually considered). By the end of season 8, everything in the show was tied up in a nice little bow and most, if not all of the story arcs to that point were pretty much resolved.

I also kinda think the Ori would have been a interesting addition to Atlantis as a recurring foe.
