And since I've been horribly remiss in posting in these threads of late, here's another from earlier today:

That's one Santa that can come visit me in the middle of the night! (presents or not ;))

Hi stranger! How've you been?

Merry Christmas everyone!! :)

As I just described in this post, I've been having a pretty great Christmas so far! I haven't actually had the real thing yet, but here are some pictures anyway...

I forgot to put the SD card back into my uncle's camera so no Christmas photos with the family this year. :( I did get one of just me today, but that's it :(

^According to my mother, the body was lost somewhere at the mall...she looked down at one point and all I had was the head. I quite liked the head, much more efficient and compact.

:guffaw::guffaw::guffaw::guffaw:

Almost like Wednesday Addams...but with a disembodied head instead of a decapitated doll.

One thing that drove my mom nuts- and I still don't know exactly why I did this- I'd chew on the hands of my Barbie dolls. :wtf:  I guess I liked my own nails too much to chew on them...

^ I did that to my sister's Barbies. I remember thinking that the plastic tasted funny but I loved how squishy it was. But I unfortunately chewed my nails to the quick too. I was such a nervous child.

And I love the kitty picture Spocked! I just want to hold it.

Oh and I pulled off the stickers of my first rubix cube. The second one I received (from my grandmother) my mom threatened me to not destroy it so I took it apart instead. Both ways work equally well at solving it. (And I don't care what anyone says, like Kirk and the Kobayashi Maru, I still solved the puzzle but I just did it in a way that the inventors didn't think of.)

I was given a Barbie once. I wasn't sure just what in the hell I was supposed to do with it, so I just sort of assumed it was a dog toy. It didn't last very long...

Back on topic: my church on Christmas Eve:

My mom's German wax angel tree topper. My sister bought it 20+ years ago- so the tag says "made in West Germany". Wow. That was a long time ago!

Well, aren't you just looking all clean-cut and adorable today? ;)

Am I the only one here who learned how to solve it correctly? :p

Big quote-post to catch up on the last week!

Blablover5, I wish I could have seen that red sunset sky! Spectacular. I'd love to see a larger version.
Very nice and expressive. :)
My annual Trek-mas tree!

 Sudenly I remember a Q episode with the "real" Voyager as a bauble on a Christmas tree...

Glad to finally see you without Cardassian features, Elmo Dukat! ;) You look familiar to me. Like a childhood friend.
I like your "World of Goo" picture a lot. It looks like you're up to something. Pretty, too.

Here's a picture from our wrap party last week. You might recognize me as the dude on the right, but I'm here with the famous Ricky Mabe, recently of Zack and Miri Make a Porno fame.
Cool pic of you, doubleoh. I don't know this guy from Adam but I like your expression. Good thing I can't smell the cigar.

As you can see, I was thrilled with my Rubix Cube.
Ha ha! Best dog picture ever! And silly rubix cubes. I belong to the category who peeled off the stickers. ;) But it was very hard and you couln't stick them back on unnoticed.
Good one. Are these Egyptian papyruses on the wall?

It would seem so.

Actually, they're engraved and painted stone tablets. I do have some papyrus, but I don't have them displayed anywhere. My apartment is eclectically decorated: I also have clay African and Mesoamerican masks on the walls and the Declaration of Independence.

Me, my brother and my parents at the restaurant...

I hope that it's your brother who's not wearing a shirt... It's a restaurant! Dress up! (a little)

I was thinking the same thing.
Seriously your a grown man put a button up on or at least a Polo style knit shirt. If you were at Burger King it wouldn't be an issue.

Edit: Ok I saw where you admit its you and were somehow not prepared for what I guess was a surprise family outing.
