My dog loves the snow.

That is a beautiful sunset.

She was being naughty actually, dropping a bone she wasn't supposed to have outside in the snow so no one would catch her, then trying to pick it up when no one would notice.

Very smart dog.

We're still expecting more snow in Toronto before the holiday, too.

Lily loves snow, which seems to have some powers of rejuvenation on her. This 11 year old dog gets the energy of an 11 month old puppy as soon as her paws touch it.

Hey, where'd the rest of my dog go?

Our old Dog brutie was that way. He was so happy when it snowed, he'd run out and lay in it.

The other two just refused to even go out.

I love when they bite the snow, especially as they run.

It's so funny to just see a cloud of snow and then a dog emerges triumphant.

Lily's favorite thing to do in the snow is to fold her front legs under her chest and use her back legs to push herself through the powder. When she comes up she's positively dusty! I tried a few times to get pictures of the snow-covered version but she always shook it off too quickly.

That tree looks pretty...just needs a star on top!

How much total accumulation did TO get? We got about 20 cm on Friday, and another 10 so far today  (in the 'shwa)

Good thing I'm on holidays now...I'm not going out 'till it's all cleaned up!

We're still digging out from about 11.5 inches of snow over two days here in eastern Iowa.

Oh, and the -30 wind chills, too.

Don't say that. We have to drive through to Chicago in two days. You'd better have it all cleaned up by then.
