Thanks. I am usually a lousy photographer (reason why I am mostly a lurker in this thread), but this shot practically took himself.
I was chuckling at that, too.
From what I read, it had been sitting there for a couple of weeks before HEK TAD got around to arting it. Someone told about watching the #eastriverpiano hashtag to see which street artist would be first.
That's awesome. I had no idea that it was a "thing" (though, I should have expected it). Thanks for sharing those! From what I read, it had been sitting there for a couple of weeks before HEK TAD got around to arting it. So this is Pride weekend here - in fact, we're hosting World Pride, so it's been going on for nine days now - and I went downtown last night to participate in the Trans* March, then went back down today to check out the various vendors and soak up the atmosphere. I saw something at one booth I'd been wanting for a long time, at a very good price, so after getting a second opinion from Chrinfinity, made my purchase:

One thing I love about Toronto is that nobody batted an eye at the guy standing behind the booth on the sidewalk taking his shorts off. (Mind you, the kilt was already on, so I wasn't providing any kind of show. And the other shows taking place in the area are much better, anyway.)
What a handsome fella!Apparently Spike enjoys a lazy Sunday as much as I do.

Thank you. I like taking pictures, but I usually manage to snap half-blurred pictures of people making weird faces. And I rarely have a camera with me. But recently I upgraded to a smartphone (yeah, I still had a dumbphone until a couple of weeks ago), so maybe it will help me to snap more pics. But if I go all Instagram on you, for the love of God, end me.iguana_tonante, generally speaking a "lousy photographer" doesn't take shots like that. It looks like it belongs in a coffee table book, or something. Or put another way: Sure, nature gave you the opportunity. But you managed to perfectly capture the moment. In my experience (having missed that moment more times than I'd like to admit) that's no small feat.

Please do all of that (except the Instagram)! It looks like you've got a great eye for capturing the scene around you, and if your phone can help you do that, I'm sure we'd all love to see the results!Thank you. Yeah, but you use it as an art form ... as opposed to ... what it's usually used for.Hey, I like Instagram! I used it for this one I took last night on my way home from softball.
