PICTURE POST II!

Great pictures, dude, but you might want to resize those just a tad.

I'm so jealous. I've been wanting to go to Disneyworld for ages; have been there in about 14 years.

Not to rub it in but we're going to DisneyWorld on Monday. Can't wait, we got our Magic Bands today:

That's so cool. :bolian:

Have fun, Tom! I've never been to Disneyworld in spite of living in the same time zone and just a few states to the north of Florida, but maybe I'll get to go one day. Hope it's a blast, man.

I was at the Disney Store once and that's as close as I've ever been.

Disneyworld has Build-a-Droid Star Wars figure displays where you can build your very own customized astromech droids from hundred of parts of different shapes and colors. That's reason enough to go if you're a geek of my persuasion.

You can build your own lightsaber at both Star Tours and Downtown Disney.

So, my roomy gave me a rack, and I thought it might help take the burden off my closet, which projectile vomits if I don't open it carefully. I took all my favorite clothes for late summer/autumn out and hung them on the rack. I really like the way it looks, it makes me feel like I'm shopping in the awesomest thrift shop ever where everything is my size and taste without leaving my room! But my closet is still bursting at the seems. I think I may have a problem.

You must look so cute and awesome in that brown leather(?) one with the fringe/trim.

Brown suede, vintage -- One of my favorites. I'm guessing late 60s but I can't be sure. Unfortunately, the label was gold lettering on a suede interior patch, and is so faded its unreadable. I bought it for $20 in a thrift shop in Seattle when I was 15 in excellent condition. The back is fully fringed as well and not one of the strands is missing.

Ah, I just thought of trying to determine when it was made by using size inflation! It's a size 10. I wear a 4-6. This means if the size deflation guides are correct it was made sometime in the mid 60s to mid 70s.

I asked my mom to send it to me last year because I hadn't worn it since high school and was starting to miss it. When I got it I reached my hand in the pocket and found movie stubs to Billy Elliott and a note on official Seattle Public School stationary to go and see the principal!

Am I the only person who sees all of TSQ pictures upside down?

tsq: I'd love to see a pic of you wearing it! It reminds me of one of those suede or leather jackets you'd often see people like Dennis Hopper wear in movies of that era. I'm a bit of a fan of that look and style.

Ryan: Very cool. I've seen Prowse's autograph on a few photos here and there but I don't have any of them.

^I think she mentioned some time that she has some cowboy boots as well.

Good things both :D Well, technically the latter isn't...but you're not doing things right in school unless you get into trouble.

Looks like just two of us

This is what i call an awesome summer. My cousins, uncle and grand uncle come to Norway and we gather in my mothers house for a two week lan party! Well.. We "kids" do the laning.. When we get too tired to play, it's right on to "bad movies" and falling asleep in the sofas before bed. There were 8 computers in there at one point, (9 if you count the fact that I had to use my laptop for one game that wouldn't run on the PC).
