PICTURE POST II!

^Because I typed a comma where there shouldn't have been one. Likely due to semantic satiation, actually. In trying to overcome the semantic satiation in order to type the correct number of buffalos I had say the sentence in my head slowly, and l placed a comma at my mental pause.

You know, I didn't even realize that your post had a comma while the real sentence didn't. My brain is not operating at 100% today.

They sound like they'd have a nice ring, yeah. :)

"That sounded daaaaarker....than it neeeeeded to....

oh, yeah.
"

I tracked it down. Here's the full track list:

1. that photo speaks for my soul
2. that sounded darker than it needed to
3. slapped with a large trout
4. oh doctor, you can hang a star on that one
5. caught for excessive window shopping
6. like a house by the side of the road
7. he gone
8. you can put it on the board

(It was an EP. ;) )

Not high quality, but went for a hike yesterday and had some fun playing around with the camera on my phone!

Catses!

And what happens when you try to take a pic of the dog and one of the cats, and mom walks by with something in her hand.

Very nice! Where did you take these, geographically speaking?

Muir Woods, north of SF. I don't know how long I'm going to stay in CA but there's so much my (soon to be) ex wouldn't do with me and I'm trying to knock a few things off the list. My brother was out here for a few days so we drove up there and went hiking. It's beautiful. :)

If you haven't checked it out already, Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park has some similarly scenic spots. From Santa Cruz up Highway 9 through there is a really nice drive.

I have! I love it, and it's actually really close to me now that I'm on the south end of the city (near 85 and 87). I've done Santa Cruz and that park on the same day a few times and it's beautiful, and not as insanely crowded.

:techman:

It's very pretty—almost like a whole different world—and if you pick the right time, it's like having it all to yourself. Way cool.

You know, I was about to say those trees reminded me of the tall redwoods in E.T. or the Endor forests of Return of the Jedi. Those pics just screamed "California."

I meant to post this before too, but I don't think I did. You guys know I've been dealing with a lot and I had a particularly difficult day last week. I was getting overwhelmed and I saw this in the lot that I had parked in. Sometimes it's the little things (like graffiti!) that help. :)
