Picture of me several years back at Chicago Comic Con where I had the great honor of meeting an idol of mine, director John Carpenter. This was right after he signed my copy of Escape from New York and I told him I fell in love with movies and how movies are made because of him. He fist-bumped me and couldn't have been more cool. He said, "Thank you so much. I truly appreciate that, man."
