That is Venice. I took that picture back in 2000 when I visited Europe for the first time ever.

Thank you! I worked for a Danish company for 8 years and went to Denmark almost monthly. I also ended up going to other countries for business trips (England, Germany, Switzerland, Spain). Those pictures are from the first trip to Denmark. I stayed a few extra days as it was my birthday that weekend.

Yeah. That could almost pass for the Lincoln Memorial, couldn't it?

But it is actually a temple in Greece (Athens) visible from the Parthenon. It is in much better shape too.

It was the temple to the much lesser known Cult of Common Sense. It wasn’t used very much.
