PICTURE POST II!

That might be the most awesome dashboard display I've seen since the last time I watched one of the Back to the Future movies.

That's actually a good idea. I'd contact any of your local charity agencies and see if they have a need for a used baby crib because those organizations frequently use them for one purpose or another. Good luck. I hope somebody else can find a use for it.

Donating the crib is a great idea. That's what we did when our youngest outgrew it. It does tug at the heartstrings, doesn't it?

I agree, finding another home for it is important to me. Especially where it can do the most good. I have a few calls out to places, I'm waiting to hear back from.

Thanks. I had the feeling it was just glorified wallpaper but wanted to know for sure. There are some tablet and smartphone apps that use Okudagram displays and actually function as interfaces, though, and I think a few of them are available at the Google Play Store.

When I found out that the touchscreen controls in my car had a wallpaper option that can be displayed at all times...as a Trek fan, I knew what I had to do.

Dude! That is amazing!

I was kind of wondering the same thing.
My CRV has them too and no, they're just jpegs. I've got LCARS ones, a Back to the the future one, a SHIELD one and a KITT one. I like a geeky dashboard. :D

Yep, unfortunately it is all just for show. And sadly it does only accept static JPGs. If it would play an animated GIF I would probably blow my free time on creating awesome new wallpapers. Oh and there *would* be an animated flux capacitor, you can bet on that.
