I love this.. So neat but why didn't they just build lanes of high speed roads like an underground autobahn?
^ Because it's way riskier in case there's an accident. Access for emergency services would be a problem. Plus what happens if there's a fire? The tunnel is 50km (over 30miles) long. Plus I'm sure there are other reasons. But yeah, just basic safety (or lack there of).

THE MOON....... From tonight's event. Had a tiny bit of camera shake on uneven ground despite the tripod. As I post these it is starting to get bright again as the Earth moves out of shadow
