Picard Season 3 Teaser Trailer

Just noticed this....

It looks like Riker is in uniform when flying the shuttle to Titan. And considering he IS a captain, and Seven is refered to as commander....
Is Riker in command of Titan-A with Seven as his first officer?

That does make sense. Of course, that’s probably not the scenario precisely because it makes sense ;)

I’m still trying to figure out

where the Enterprise-D fits into all of this.

*BTW I'm a little annoyed that Grammarly still knicks 'themself'. It's 2022 FFS.

This was really annoying me for ages as I couldn't work out what your issue with it was and was getting pissed off that it is clearly a plural thing - a lesson to me (in terms of being more understanding of others when they forget about/aren't aware of certain modern changes to language) and also a wrist slap to myself for forgetting the they/them pronoun.

A very good point and you are right, you would think they would have that sorted by now

which art is this? Do you have al link please?

I have a crazy theory that I dont think the Titan is the Hero ship. I think it gets destroyed early on in the series. There are a few shots in the trailer of a ship interior getting wrecked with officers getting flung around. I wonder if picard and seven go off on some mission and the Titan is destroyed or severely damaged. Then Picard needs to get another ship from Riker. Leading to that scene of picard and riker flying into space dock. Riker says "hello beautiful" and the camera cuts away before revealing the ship. Now, if that is the Titan-A, why not simply show it there since they show it later in the trailer? Unless it's some other ship, say the Enterprise-E? I think the two spacedock scenes are two completely different scenes.

I think it would be kind of silly to introduce a brand-new Titan only to have it get destroyed immediately. If that were the case, they could have used the Luna class Titan.

Well, technically that's what happened with the Stargazer in S2...

You can see the nacelles of another ship in the background of the shuttle shot that is also in the background of the Titan leaving

oh i agree completely. There's just something about the trailer, that felt like a bait and switch, at least in my mind, with the Titan-A.

It'll probably turn out looking different overall, but I wonder if Bev is wearing a retro 2285 away team jacket there.

Looks like the one Kirk wore down to the Genesis test site.

The TITAN has it's own musical theme according to Terry, you hear part of it at the very end of the trailer.

I don't think they're doing a bait and switch.

So according to some tweets there's a someone new as the CO of Titan, it's not Riker. I messed up
