Thank you! Will do that! We have already rewatched all of the TNG movies, every episode with Hugh and some major Picard and Seven of Nine-centric episodes. Watched "The measure of a man" on Friday and will rewatch Star Trek '09 tonight.
Judging from the sounds of it, Data episodes are probably more important to the narrative. "The Measure of a Man", "Data's Day", "Inheritance"... episodes along those lines.
I would then put The Offspring in their along "Brothers" and Unification 2 parter. Some of the best Data/Picard friendship stuff is from Picard trying to sleep but can't because of Data just standing their. Jason
It kinda makes sense to have as much Data as Jean-Luc, in whichever way possible since these two have always been the fan favorites from TNG.
Kinda feels like it's the TNG movies all over again. "TNG is Picard and Data, the others just take up space."
But is there a good story to be told? We got four movies of Picard and Data, to pretty mediocre results. I like Picard, I like Data, but I don't want a paper thin story that is simply their to showcase them.
I do think we underestimate though how popular Worf is. I am surprised they didn't find a spot for him in season 1. Especially since the Klingons are famous for their hatred of Romulans. I wonder what Worf would think that about Picard being so friendly with them even having two of them live with him or at least that seems implied from some of the clips we have seen. I bet you Worf was not all broken up about Romulus and I would not be shocked if he was one of the most hardened Starfleet types that decided to make the Federation more isolated. Jason
