Very sad. Such a funny guy.

Peter Graves was quote cool as Mr Phelps, an iconic role; it was very sad that the producers of the movies chose to reboot rather than continue and make use of this great actor (and ruined the character).
QFT.... it was very sad that the producers of the movies chose to reboot rather than continue and make use of this great actor (and ruined the character).
My thoughts go out to his older brother, James Arness (who wears badge #2 in the U.S. Marshalls' Service).
Yeah, he definitely wasn't happy about it, and I don't blame him. I have no interest in seeing the movie either.Peter Graves was quote cool as Mr Phelps, an iconic role; it was very sad that the producers of the movies chose to reboot rather than continue and make use of this great actor (and ruined the character).
Didn't Peter refuse to even see the movie in the theater for this very reason? Or was he the one who walked out right in the middle of it?

I'm not judging it by the poster, I'm judging it by what I know: It turned a clever, tightly plotted TV show into an action movie and corrupted the main character because it's so kewl and trendy to do so. I have dozens, probably hundreds, of books and DVDs that I want to look at, so I'm really not inclined to waste my time on something that I have zero interest in.
