Peter Graves (Mission Impossible, Flying High) has died

I watched bits of the MI film when it was on tv a few years back, you know the way you sometimes just get into a film half way through. About 10 mins into my watching they revealed the Phelps is traitor bit. I was like, "whut?!?!". Turned over at that point as I was offened. I know MI is only a tv show and all that, but the reveal in the film irritated me a great deal. Someone spackled it by saying that Jim Phelps isn't a real name, but the name assumed by the head of the MI squad. So, it was just this postholder that was the traitor, not the "real" JP.

Yeah, I wasn't a huge fan of the original series either but making Phelps a traitor just struck me as dumb.
